I’m still a lip virgin

I’m…. still waiting for my other half. Whom I want to give my lips to.

Yes, I had previous boyfriends, but I still haven’t had my first kiss yet. I pinky promise that I am telling the truth. It’s just that I’m so hesitant on dating somebody after promising God that I won’t date during freshmen year. Now I am almost a junior and I feel like I can continue that promise all the way up til’ end of high school.

But it’s not like I don’t want to kiss or anything. I’m just waiting for the right person. I don’t want to end up giving my precious first kiss to somebody that I will break up with. Ironically, I like too many people so quickly. I get attached to someone, regardless of their gender. That can be translated into multiple ways; I easily become friends with girls, carelessly share all of MY SECRETS, and end up putting my trust in them. Even when they betray my trust, I have no one to blame but myself of being so foolishly open. For guys, well they differ. I need to really my time of even being friends with them, keep my distance.

As for now, I am not in a hurry to fall in love. I posted this because none of you seem to believe that I am actually really careful, cautious, and shy. Whatever I’m displaying outside is not completely who I am inside.

But I would like to take this time to say that I am proud of being a lip virgin. That just means that whoever’s taking my first kiss is really special :) <3
